Theodora “Dora” (Kreconus) Bedell, of Cambridge, formerly of Somerville passed away peacefully April 22.
Beloved wife of the late Richard “Dick” Bedell.
Mother of Richard and his wife Janet of Worcester, Karen and her husband Joe of WA and the late Doreen Dwyer.
Mother-in-law of John Dwyer of Billerica.
Adored grandmother of Sandra and her husband Larry, Sheryl and her husband Frank, Tracy and her husband Colin and Keith and his wife Heather.
Great grandmother of Nicholas, Cyr, CJ, Aubrey and Delaney.
Funeral service in the Brown-Flaherty Funeral Home, 261 Washington St. Union Square, SOMERVILLE on Thursday at 7:30pm.
Relatives and friends gratefully invited to visit with the family prior to the service from 4-7:30pm.
Burial will be private.
Dora had simple pleasures, she enjoyed her girlfriends, loved to do lunch and loved to go to movies. She leaves many dear friends, especially a wonderful and trusted friend Helen DiPalma. Dora was a former resident of Cobble Hill in Somerville. Dora’s family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Wheeler who was her physician and advocate taking great care of her for 30 plus years and also the staff at Cambridge Hospital that took such great care of her over the years.
