Phyllis Ann (Parolisi) Curtis, 70, passed away Sunday April 20th at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lawrence daughter of Alphonse J. and Filomena (Palermo) Parolisi. She was raised and educated in Lawrence and was a graduate of Lawrence High School and was a BEST section chief for the IRS in Andover for over 40 years prior to retiring. In her free time, Phyllis enjoyed arts and crafts, traveling, cooking, gardening, but most of all spending time with her family.
Phyllis is survived by her children Karen (Curtis) Lacroix and her husband Thomas of Salem NH, Kevin Curtis of Palm Bay FL, Keith Curtis and his wife Louise of Murfreesboro TN, Kenneth Curtis of Salem NH, Kerry Curtis of Salem NH, brothers Nicholas Parolisi and his wife Leslie of Dracut, Ronald Parolisi and his wife Nollie Odessa of Madison MS, Richard Parolisi and his wife Margaret of Lawrence, Russell Parolisi and his wife Sheryle of Sorrento FL, 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Thursday April 24th from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday April 25th at 10 AM in Corpus Christi / Holy Rosary Church of Lawrence with burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
