Francesco P. Cardillo of Medford died Sunday, April 20. Born in Italy, he was the son of the late Pietro and Giovanna (Bellitti) Cardillo. Francesco came to the U.S. in 1960, settling in Medford where he lived the remainder of his life.
Francesco was the beloved husband of Theresa (Capizzo) Cardillo and devoted father of Joanne Mortell and her husband Steven of Medford, Peter Cardillo of Lawrence and his fiancée Janice Hebert. He was the loving grandfather of Steven, Cory and Nicole Mortell, Monique, Christina and Cassandra Cardillo.
A funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, April 25 at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
