Paxton - George D. Boria, 75 of 19 Crowningshield Dr. a long time business owner died Saturday March 23 in the Hospice Residence after a long illness.
Mr. Boria leaves his wife of 50 years Katherine L. (Budo) Boria of Paxton; three daughters Carolyn A. Boria and Joan M. Boria both of Paxton and Roberta E. Boria of Shrewsbury; one sister Lillian Diliddo of Shrewsbury and many nieces and a nephew. He is predeceased by two brothers Peter Boria of Worcester and William Boria of Auburn. Mr. Boria was born in Worcester son of Denis He was a Army veteran serving during World War II. Mr. Boria owned and operated Deerhill Dairy for over 50 years retring in 1993. He was a member of St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church and the Sons of St. Mary. He was also a member of the Montacute Lodge of Masons where he was a 32 Degree Mason. The funeral will be held on Monday March 25 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond St. Worcester, with a service at 10 AM in St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church 535 Salisbury St., Worcester. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are from 2 to 6 PM on Sunday March 24 in the funeral home. A Trisagion service will be held at 5:30 PM in the funeral home during calling hours. The Masons will perform a ritual at 4:30 in the funeral home during calling hours.
