Obituary

Wareham – Reginald S. Cobb, 73, of Wareham and Marathon, FL died Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at home. He was married for 42 years to Irene M. (Babineau) Cobb until her death in 1993.

He was born in Rochester, son of the late James B. and Ethel (Caswell) Cobb, and was a lifelong resident of the Rochester – Wareham area. Following his retirement from the Table Talk Pastry Company, New Bedford, he wintered in the Florida Keys, where he was a licensed commercial fisherman, on his boat named Sump-n-else. A skilled carpenter and antiques lover, he restored several old homes in Rochester. He enjoyed country western dancing and was an avid yard saler. Mr. Cobb was an Air Force veteran who served during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his granddaughter Kimberly Burnett and her husband Francis of Wareham; 4 great grandchildren: Joshua, James, Bailey and Madison Burnett; also a daughter Regina Scotland of Church Falls, VA, a son Reginald, and a grandson Michael Martin and his wife Jacquelyn of Fairhaven. In addition, Mr. Cobb leaves a niece Jennifer Brown-Ohlson of Venice, FL as well as many nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends.

He was the brother of the late Paul Cobb, Robert Cobb, James Cobb, Donald Cobb and Marjorie Braley.

Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday, November 6, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Rochester Center Cemetery, Rochester.
