Sylvie Brown Simpson age 79, of Provincetown, died Sunday April 13, 2014 at Epoch of Brewster. Born in New York City on August 27, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. Brown III and Ruth D. Barrere. She studied at Bard College and worked as a layout artist for Redbook Magazine. In 1967 she moved to Wellfleet where her father and other family members lived. She has resided in Provincetown since 1990. Mrs. Simpson is survived by her daughter Pamela Simpson of No. Eastham and other family members including Laura Brown and Christopher Brown both of Wellfleet and Stephen Brown of Richmond, CA.
