CLINTON – Geneva M. “Jeannie” (Gilbert), age 92, of Brockton, November 4, 2004 at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. Beloved wife of the late Francis L. Loving mother of Deborah Cronin and her husband David of North Weymouth, Frances Finch and her husband John of Raynham and the late Janice Clinton. Dear sister of Albert Gilbert of California and the late Arthur Boucher. Cherished grandmother of Colleen McGrath of West Bridgewater and Mark LaForge of Connecticut. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass at Saint Colman Church, Wendell Avenue and Lyman Street, Brockton Monday at 9:00 AM. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted. BROCKTON - Geneva M. “Jeannie” (Gilbert) Clinton, age 92, of Brockton, died November 4, 2004 at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. Daughter of the late Albert and Flora (Boucher) Gilbert. Geneva was born in Hyde Park, moved to Brockton about the age of 9. She was the wife of the late Francis L. Clinton. Mrs. Clinton was employed with Luries Sportswear located in Stoughton for many years, and later on with South Shore Sportswear in Brockton until her retirement in 1975. Longtime member of Saint Margaret Church, and enjoyed using her talent in her love for all sewing arts especially needle point. She is survived by her daughters Deborah Cronin of North Weymouth, Frances Finch of Raynham, a brother Albert Gilbert of California. Also survived by 2 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Geneva was the mother of the late Janice Clinton, and sister of the late Arthur Boucher.
