Roland J. "Chuck" Berube, 78, a resident of Lawrence, died at the Wingate at Haverhill, on Sunday, April 20, 2014.
He was born in Lawrence, MA, Attended St. Patrick's Grammar School and graduated from Central Catholic High School class of 1953. He enlisted in the United States Airforce and became a Radio Operator. He then married his high school sweetheart and began raising a family. He worked as a Maintenance Manager & Transportation Manager for Raytheon for 35 years. He also enjoyed coaching his son and loved family vacations to Cape Cod.
He is survived by his wife Carole (Mercier) Berube of 59 years, son Charles Berube and his wife Jackie of Methuen, daughter Robin MacLean and her husband Kevin of Derry, NH, and daughter Leslie Buresh and her husband Bill of Salem, NH, 9 grand children and 3 great grand children. He is also survived by his sister Carmel Munroe of Hull, MA and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend a funeral mass on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, St. Theresa Church, 22 Plymouth Street, Methuen, MA. A burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Lawrence.
