PORT RICHEY, FL-Elizabeth Ann Golinski, 78, of 7604 Birchwood Drive, formerly of Worcester died Wednesday, November 3rd in Hernando Pasco Hospice Residence, after a 5 year battle with cancer. She leaves her husband of 58 years, John Paul Golinski, 3 sons, John “Bob” R. Golinski of Richardson, TX, David P. Golinski of Dallas, TX and James J. Golinski of Dade City, FL, 2 granddaughters, Sharon D. Gonzales and Diane C. Golinski, many nephews and nieces. Two brothers, James and George O’Brien and a sister, Barbara “Ruth” Godfrey predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of James and Mary (Ward) O’Brien. Mrs. Golinski worked as a Patrol Guard for Canterbury Street School for 13 years, until retiring in 1973. Previously she worked for the former Woodbury and Company, Inc. She was an active member of the Port Richey Community Club, a supervisor of elections in the Palm Terrace Civic Association for 31 years and a manager of it’s Diet Club.
The funeral is Tuesday, November 9th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, November 8th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
