Worcester—Mary E. (Murphy) Sullivan, 85, died Thursday, November 4, 2004, in the Jewish Healthcare Center. Her husband, Paul A. Sullivan, died in 1988. She leaves 4 sons, Paul F. Sullivan of Princeton, John D. Sullivan of Avon, CT, Joseph S. Sullivan of Sterling, and William B. Sullivan of Eastford, CT; a daughter, Kathleen E. Lynch of Holden; a brother, Edward Sullivan of Worcester; a sister, Margaret Lutz of Shrewsbury; 13 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of John and Elizabeth (Brosnan) Murphy. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary.
Funeral services will be held from Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Saturday, Nov. 6, with a 10 O’clock mass at Our Lady of the Rosary, 25 Fales Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held from 5-8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 5, at Nordgren Memorial Chapel.
