Carl O. Plourde, 63, of Derry, NH passed away after a long battle with pancreatic cancer on Friday, April 18, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 4, 1950 in Biddeford, ME, a son of the late Omer and Madeline (Sheehan) Plourde.
A graduate of Biddeford HS and of Bentley College, Carl retired from PanAm Railways accounting department after 23 years.
Carl enjoyed driving limousines part-time, listening to country music, playing suduko and free cell solitaire.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia (Sears) Plourde, Kimberly Plourde and her wife, Linda Russell of Windsor VT, and Shandra Plourde of Derry, NH. He is also survived by his brother, Kenneth Plourde of Biddeford, ME, several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 6 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry with a memorial service began at 8:00pm. Private burial will be at a later date.
