York, ME – Douglas A. DiNoia, 47, formerly of Holden died in his home.
Mr. DiNoia is survived by two brothers Leonard D. DiNoia of Harwich and Steven A. DiNoia of Ashburnham; a sister Lee Anne Petherbridge of Tewksbury and nephews and nieces. Mr. DiNoia was born in Worcester, the beloved son of the late Lawrence M. and Aurelie Lorraine (Roy) DiNoia.
He graduated from Wachusett High School and Plymouth State College with a degree in Accounting. Mr. DiNoia was employed in hotel management and was currently working at the Holiday Inn of Portsmouth, NH, and worked previously in Maine, Florida, and the Days Lodge of Worcester.
Mr. DiNoia was an avid sports fan and golfer, and was ecstatic that both the Red Sox and Patriots were 2004 World Champions.
The funeral will be held on Saturday November 6 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a mass at 9:30 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel – St. Ann Church 24 Mulberry St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home on Friday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Jimmy Fund 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor Brookline, MA 02445
