Antonio Barreiro, age 86 of New Bedford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Brandon Woods of New Bedford.
He was born in Portugal, moved to this country in 1960 and worked as a Welder until his retirement.
He leaves behind his stepchildren: Pamela Sousa Borges of Fall River, Rebecca Pereira of Swansea, Juannetta Oliver, Lisa Reed and Stanley Combs; children: Manuel Barreiro, Anna Barreiro and Elaina Barreiro, all of Portugal, as well as several grandchildren and step grandchildren.
Private arrangements were placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
