Sanbornton-----Wilma Snow, 86, of 7 Beechwood Avenue, died at her home on Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
Wilma was born February 23, 1928 in Cambridge, Mass., the daughter of the late George and Mary (Coutoumas) McPherson.
Wilma resided in Everett, Mass. for 8 years before moving to Sanbornton where she lived for nine years with her daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia (Snow) and Stephen Johnson. She had been employed at H. P. Hood in Charlestown, Mass. for over twenty years, retiring in 1992.
Wilma was a member of the Friendship Club in Laconia. Her hobbies included reading books, crossword puzzles, crocheting and listening to music. She also enjoyed shopping and accordion concerts.
Most of all she loved animals, especially her cats.
Wilma is survived by four daughters, Barbara J. and her husband John Crosby, Sylvia E. and her husband Mike Sears, and Janice Breault, all of Massachusetts. Cynthia L. and her husband Stephen Johnson of Sanbornton. Also by four sons, David Snow, Marc Snow and his wife Judy, Jeffrey Snow and his wife Carol, and Steven Snow and his wife, Ellen, all of Massachusetts along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of over forty-eight years, Herbert Snow, and by her daughter, Phyllis A. Machnik.
There will be no calling hours.
A Funeral Service will be held at a later date.
Burial will be in the family lot in Cambridge Cemetery, Cambridge, Mass.
