James Joseph Silvia, age 65 of Fall River passed away on April 14, 2014. He was the husband of Eileen (Costa) Silvia and son of the late Manuel and Mary (Rego) Silvia. James was a Local 4 Operator for Advanced Pollution Control Corporation of Bridgewater MA, enjoyed fishing, crabbing, landscaping and was a parishioner of St. Michael’s Church.
He is survived by his children; James M. Silvia (wife Ana Correia) of Dartmouth, Ann Mollicone (husband Kenneth) of Somerset, and Steven Silvia of Somerset, brother; Richard P. Silvia of Fall River, nieces and nephews; Lindsey D. Borges, Michael Costa, Tina Weichel, Angela Yell Amanda Costa, Alex and Kevin Clifford. James was also the uncle of the late Richard B. Silvia.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on TUESDAY here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Michael’s Church at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Calling hours on MONDAY from 4-8 P.M.
