Mary Alice Crispo

...formerly of Wilmington; age 93

TEWKSBURY - Mary Alice (Lariviere) Crispo, age 93, a member of one of the co-founding families of St. Dorothy’s Parish in Wilmington, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, at her Tewksbury home. She was the wife of Ernest M. Crispo, who died in 1981.

She was born in Lawrence, Dec. 14, 1910, a daughter of the late Joseph and Alphonsine(Croteau) Lariviere. She lived in Wilmington for 63 years, before moving to Tewksbury in 1994. As a resident of Wilmington, she was active in the formation and opening of St. Dorothy’s Parish. After the church opened, she remained active in St. Dorothy’s Sodality, and numerous other church activities. Since living in Tewksbury, she attended St. William’s Church.

In her later years, she was active in the Wilmington Golden Age Club, and transferred membership to the Tewksbury Golden Age Club 10 years ago.

She is survived by two daughters, Anne A. Crispo of Tewksbury, with whom she resided, and Paula M. Lefebvre of Chester, NH; two sons and two daughters-in-law; Robert and his wife Irene(Cote) Crispo of Saco, ME, Dennis P. Crispo of Andover, and Ruth Crispo ofMethuen; four grandchildren, Marie LeGrande, Rebecca, Roland, and Robin Crispo; 2 greatgrandchildren, Brandon and Alexander.

She was also mother of the late Richard E. Crispo, and sister of the late Florence Crispo.

Her Funeral Mass was held Saturday, Nov. 6, in St. William’s Church, Tewksbury. Interment was in Wildwood Cemetery,Wilmington.
