Beverly M. Mason, 79 of Raymond, NH died Monday April 7, 2014 at her home following a period of declining health. Bev was born in East Lyme, CT on June 18, 1934, a daughter of the late Milton and Anna Tufts. She was the youngest of six children, having been raised in Litchfield and Hudson, NH. She moved to Raymond in 2008 to be closer to her family, formerly residing in Willimantic, CT. Bev enjoyed entertaining her friends and family at their Cape Cod summer cottage. She was loved by all who became her friend.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth R. Mason in 2007, by her two sons, Robert and Jeffrey Mason, and by her siblings, Sonny Tufts, Wally Tufts, Harry Tufts, Lorraine Cummings, and Lucille French.
Following cremation, graveside services will be held on Saturday May 10, 2014 at 11:00am in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry, NH. Donations in her memory may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, Suite 200, Bethesda, Maryland 20814. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
