Chester Eugene Savage passed away September 9, 2004 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS.
Visitation was held Saturday, September 11, 2004, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. The funeral service was held Saturday, September 11, 2004 at 2:00 PM in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Shoock officiating. Committal Services were held in the Pine Flat Cemetery. Chris Savage, Robert Williamson, Kenny Savage, Jimmy Miller, Billy Bumgardner, and Dewitt House served as pallbearers
He is survived by: four daughters, Ann Marie Trumumchuck of Chicago, IL, Brenda Garcia of Seattle, WA, Teresa Lawrence of Havre, MT, and Judy Savage of Texas; four sons, Chester Eugene Janich of Chicago, IL, Tenson Savage of Boise, ID, Scott Savage of Texas, and Paul Savage of Boise, ID; four sisters, Lottie Horne of Oxford, MS, Betty House of Water Valley, MS, Ann Russell of Water Valley, MS, and Jannie Miller of Bruce, MS; three brothers, Harold Savage of Chicago, IL, Jerry Savage of Water Valley, MS, and Hurb Savage of Water Valley, MS; and 5 grandchildren. he was preceeded in death by a sister, Deborah Savage and two brothers, Wayne Savage and Buddy Savage.
Mr. Savage was a self-employed retired mechanic. He was a member of the Anchor Baptist Church in Water Valley, MS.
