SPILIOS, Christopher, 67, of West Newton, MA, Osterville, MA, and Ft. Myers, FL, passed away on March 30, 2014, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Loving husband of Allys (Van Landegend) and the son of the late Plato and Fofo (Dollas) Spilios of Lexington, MA. Chris is survived by his three children; Christina Farren and husband Thomas Farren of Hingham, MA, Vanessa Spilios of Brookline, MA, and George Spilios of South Boston, MA, and four grandchildren; Athena, Theodore, Bruce and Owen Farren of Hingham, MA. He leaves his brother Arthur and wife Marisa Spilios of Hollis, NH, his brother Damon and wife Andrea Spilios of Harrisville, NH, and his sister Joanne Spilios, of Manchester, NH. He also leaves nephew Plato Spilios and his wife Kathryn, nieces Penelope and Angelina Spilios and godson, Alexander Demers.
Known as “Chip” by his close friends and family, he graduated from the Belmont Hill School in 1964. Chip attended Ohio University and graduated with a BA in Business from Boston University. Chip was honored to be a member of the United States Marine Corps and served in the Reserves from 1966-1972. He was the President of Crown Linen Service, Inc, headquartered in Nashua, NH, a fourth generation family business that he proudly operated with his brother, Arthur, nephew, Plato Spilios, and son, George. He was an active parishioner of the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Weston, MA, and served as an Archon of The Ecumenical Patriarchate of The Greek Orthodox Church. He was a member of several organizations such as the Hamilton Trust, The Villagers and The Alpha Omega Group. Chip was an avid golfer and long-time member of Brae Burn Country Club, in West Newton, MA. He was also a member of The Wianno Club in Osterville, MA. His other interests included photography, American Military History, and spending time with his family and many friends.

Funeral Service in St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 57 Brown St., Weston, Friday, April 4 at 10 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
