Serrecchia, Lillian A. of Jamaica Plain and West Roxbury on March 28, 2014. Life Long Partner of Joseph P. Tedeschi of Jamaica Plain. Beloved daughter of Angelo Serrecchia of West Roxbury and the late Louise (Vincentio) Serrecchia. Sister of Peter Serrecchia of West Roxbury, and his loving friend Ann Jasie of Stoughton , Michael and Eileen Serrecchia of Framingham, Audrey Serrecchia of East Taunton and the late Richard Serrecchia, Robert Serrecchia and his wife Kellie of Bedford, NH and Annemarie Serrecchia of Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Aunt of Nina Marie, Camille Therese and Alexa Louise Serrecchia. Lily was grateful and blessed with a most wonderful friend in Mary Ricciutti of West Roxbury. Lily enjoyed summering in Maine and running a beautiful inn by the sea. She looked forward to laughing with her summer neighbors at Pine Point and enjoyed greeting many guests and friends from all over the world. She had memorable moments with many from Canada and always cherished her days with the great and kind unforgettables…. the “Skaneatalas NY Crew”. Lily loved to search for and collect sand dollars and sea glass from the beaches in Maine. Being blessed with Lily’s friendship was like finding your own treasure trove of sea glass… transparent, colorful and always offering you a sense of renewed hope. Like the many different pieces of sea glass that she collected and enjoyed, Lily admired and cherished each person for their own unique beauty. If you were blessed to know Lily for a lifetime or even for a moment, you knew that you found a faithful friend. Lily had the most fun playing with her dog Lucy and doing tickle, tickle on her belly. Lucy and Lily were kindred spirits… as Lily smiled at Lucy, Lucy would smile back and wink at her, then give her a “Roo, Roo”. Lily’s last request was “Please speak a kindness to one another, especially to someone you care a little bit about and to someone you care a great deal about… Enough said!!” Funeral from the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Tuesday April 1 at 9:45 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Jamaica Plain at 10:30 AM.
