Angelina P. (Salvi) Santoro, died Wednesday, March 26 at Lowell General, Saints Campus in Lowell, after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late, Pasquale A. Santoro who died in 1991. She was born in Somerville, a daughter of the late Guido and Giovanna (Guarnieri) Salvi. She moved to Tewksbury to raise her family and worked at Stuarts Department Store in Tewksbury before leaving to care for her grandchildren. She was a communicant of St. William Church.
She is survived by two sons, Anthony Santoro of Tewksbury and Patrick Santoro of Chelmsford; a daughter and son-in-law, Anne-Marie Ducharme and her husband Kenneth of Tewksbury; four grandchildren, Rebecca and Russell Santoro both of Billerica, Jennifer and Geoffrey Ducharme both of Tewksbury; a brother G. Robert Salvi of Tewksbury; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Irma Welch of Tewksbury, Irene Jones and her husband William of Saugus.
She was the mother of the late, Joseph Santoro and sister of the late, Paul Salvi.
Visiting hours are Monday, March 31, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey St. and 975 Main St. (Rte 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, phone (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950. Her Funeral will begin Tuesday, April 1, at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. William Church, 1351 Main St., Tewksbury.
