Bertram P. Beaulieu, 89, of Manchester, NH and formerly of Methuen passed away on March 24, 2014 at the Villacrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Beaulieu was born on January 12, 1925 in Lawrence to the late Peter and Hilda (Girard) Beaulieu. Bertram was raised in Lawrence and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. Following high school, Mr. Beaulieu proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged in 1944. He was a resident of Methuen for 52 years. Bertram worked as a machinist in aerospace technology for Avco in Wilmington for over 20 years until his retirement in 1987. He was an excellent artist.
Bertram was the beloved husband of the late Ellen M. (Gibbons) Beaulieu. He is survived by his children, Corinne Sheridan of Hookset, NH, Brian Beaulieu and his wife Carol of Boscawen, NH, Janice Barrett and her husband Robert of Derry, NH, and Bertram Beaulieu Jr. of Alton Bay, NH. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Bertram is predeceased by his sister Velma Cox.
Friends and relatives may call Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen, MA. A funeral service will take place on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen. The Kenneth H.
