Evelyn P. (Yingling) Boxell,96 of Anderson; died March 20, 2014 at Community Northview after an extended illness.
Evelyn was born October 2, 1917 in Yorktown, IN.
She was a homemaker and worked at J.C. Penney for several years.
She was a member of Bethany Christian Church. She loved her family, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her son-in-law, Jimmie "Jim" Waymire of Anderson; five grandchildren, Sherry Langley of Kokomo; Mike Waymire of Anderson; Dewayne Boxell of Florida; Ross (Tina) Boxell of Decatur and Mark Boxell of Florida; four great grandchildren, Jenna Langley; Brooke Langley; Adam Waymire and Abby Waymire and several great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews other special family including Craig Langley of Walton, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Melvin B. Boxell and her daughter, Barbara Waymire and her son, Daniel Boxell; two brothers and three sisters.
Service will be 10:00 AM Monday, March 24, 2014 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Bob Bell and Kent Stookey officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 23 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
