METHUEN - Charlotte E. (Cohen) Blood, 98 of Methuen, MA passed away peacefully Sunday March 16, 2014 at the Nevins Nursing asnd Rehabiliation Center in Methuen with her loving family by her side.
Born on December 4, 1915 in Lawrence, she was the daughter of Benjamin and Sarah (Bendremer) Cohen and was a graduate of Lawrence High School with the Class of 1933.
Charlotte dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family. For 35 years she was an Avon Representative in the Merrimack Valley. Charlotte was the first woman president of the Breen School PTA in Lawrence. She was the President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Congregation Anshe Sford in Lawrence, a member of the Council of Aging in Methuen and also the Methuen Senior Center.
The widow of Albert W. Blood, she is survived by her two daughters, Nancy Murphy and her husband Robert of Bradford, MA and Susan Nicholson and her husband Richard of West Newbury, MA; one daughter-in-law Debra Blood of Methuen, MA.
Six grandchildren, James, Jennifer, Jason, Seth, Erin and Linsey; great-grandchildren, Alex, Lauren, Kyle, Gavin, Brody, Quinn and Tyler and several nieces and nephews.
Charlotte was the mother of the late Bruce and William Blood.
Charlotte's Family would like to thank the dedicated family of caregivers at Methuen Village Assisted Living, Holy Family Hospital and the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre in Methuen.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday at 11:00a.m. in the Congregation Ansha Sholum 411 Hampshire Street Lawrence, MA. Burial with follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen, MA. A memorial observance will be held following her interment until sundown at the home of her daughter, Nancy Murphy in Bradford, MA.
