Lorna J. (Sokolowski) Christiansen, 54, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 16, 2014 at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Lorna was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Michael P. and Lois H. (Wylie) Sokolowski. She graduated from Bay Path Regional Vocational High School in 1977 and worked at the former American Optical Co. before becoming a stay at home mother.
She loved her children and when she rejoined the work force she maintained mother’s hours. Later in life she went back to school, earning her certification in medical billing and coding, while working at Harrington Physician Services in Webster and later Harrington Hospital in Southbridge.
