Lawrence E. Peters 76, of Taunton passed away on March 17th at the Taunton Nursing Home. He was the longtime and loving companion of Jean Robinson. Mr. Peters was the loving father of Mark Robinson, Tony Robinson, Shawn Robinson, Laurie-Ann Robinson all of Fall River, Carla Smith of Texas, Gladys Jones of Taunton, Nancy Robinson and Kim Robinson both of Attleboro and the late Lawrence E. Robinson. He was the proud grandfather of 35 and great grandfather of 40. Lawrence was the loving brother of Flo Peters of Boston and the late Clarence Peters and Gladys Rice.
Lawrence was born on January 17, 1938 in Hartford, CT, son of the late Clarence and Mary (Smith) Peters. He served our country as a member of the Army National Guard. Mr. Peters was a manager for the City of Taunton Public Housing Authority for many years. Lawrence was a good man and will be respected and missed by all who knew him.
Visiting Hours will be held on Monday March 24th from 4-7pm in the Taunton Funeral Home 8 Crapo St. Taunton.
