Elizabeth M. Boris, 71, passed away on March 13th at Beth Israel Deaconess – Plymouth after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer.
She leaves her husband of 48 years, Stanley Boris of Plymouth. She also leaves two sons: Andrew Boris and his wife Kathleen of Naperville, IL and Matthew Boris and his wife Angela of Grafton, MA. She also leaves three grandchildren, Ethan, Grady and Parker. She leaves two brothers, Francis J. Sullivan Jr. and his wife June of Hanson, MA and Dr. Ronald C. Sullivan and his wife Nancy of Islip, Long Island, NY. She was predeceased by two sisters, Karen R. Sullivan and Maureen H. Sullivan. In addition, she leaves a number of loving nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth loved playing all games. She especially loved playing Scrabble and Greedy with her sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren. She also very much loved going to Las Vegas.
Elizabeth was born November 25, 1942 in Holyoke, MA; the daughter of the late Francis J. Sullivan Sr. and Rachael (Lusty) Sullivan. She grew up in Boston and moved to Plymouth in 1971 where she resided until her death.
Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth on Monday, March 17th from 5 to 7 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 18th at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church followed by burial at Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Lung Cancer Society are greatly appreciated.
