McNeil, Glenn H. 81, passed away at home on March 9. Husband of Patricia W. (Lovett) “Crosby” McNeil of Plymouth. Loving father of Glenda Holmes of VT, Susan McNeil of FL, Michael McNeil of NH and Nannette White of Plymouth. He also leaves 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Glenn was born in Plymouth the son of H. Gordon and Doris (MacMann) McNeil. He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1950. Glenn joined the Air Force and served for 20 years serving during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He retired in 1972 and drove a Propane truck for many years. Glenn was a member of the Elks Club in Wareham, American Legion Post 40 in Plymouth, and a member of the Wankinquoah Rod and Gun Club in Middleboro. Glenn played the Clarinet and Sax with different Jazz bands music was his passion, and what he loved doing most.
A Memorial service will be held at the Chiltonville Congregational Church, on Saturday March 15 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations in Glenn’s memory may be made to the Chiltonville Congregational Church, 6 River Street, Plymouth, MA 02360 or to Cranberry Hospice 36 Cordage Park Cr. Plymouth, MA 02360. All other services will be private
