Northborough—John O. Caley, 73, died Tuesday, October 26, 2004, in UMass Memorial Healthcare—Memorial Campus. He leaves his wife, Hildegarde A. (Rolander) Caley; two sons, John O. Caley II and Stephen A. Caley, both of Northborough; a daughter, Pamela (Caley) Swanson of WA; a brother, George Caley and his wife, Bessie; and 2 grandchildren.
He was born in Saugus, son of George M. and Lillian (Crocker) Caley. He served in the Navy. John was the president of Gaston Andrey Saab in Brookline. He was one of the original members of 1st Establishment of Corvettes of Massachusetts (est. 1958). He loved fishing, boating, and golf. In his retirement, he enjoyed working at Juniper Hill Golf Course.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, October 30, in Epworth United Methodist Church. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church, Memorial Fund, 64 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA 01609. Following the service, all are invited to Juniper Hill Golf Course, 202 Brigham St., Northborough.
