Rosemary (Graham) Michaels of Natick passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 12, 2014. She was ninety years old.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts on July 17, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Edmund & Annie (Matthews) Graham.
Raised in Lowell and a 1941 graduate of Lowell High School, she entered the United States Navy and served our country proudly as a Navy Nurse during WWII.
She then worked as a Registered Nurse at the Leonard Morse Hospital of Natick for many years. Rosemary loved her family, helped watch all of her grandkids while their parents worked, attended all of their sporting events and was known to all as “Grammy”.
She enjoyed get togethers with her family members from Lowell, dancing, talking and playing cards with friends and relatives.
Mrs. Michaels was the devoted wife of the late Augustine J. Michaels with whom they shared forty-eight years of marriage.
Loving mother of Brad A. Michaels & his wife Eve of Franklin, Mark J. Michaels & his wife Patricia of Holliston, Frank E. Michaels & his wife Kathy of Apalachin, NY & Patricia M. McElaney & her husband Michael of Natick.
Cherished grandmother of Katie, Richard, Tim, Ryan, Christina, Cal, AJ, John, Annie & Robin. Caring sister of the late Nannie, Sonny, John, Bobby, Dickie, Frank & Ken. Sister-in-law of Anne Sueltenfuss & her late husband Joseph of Wakefield. Also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common on Tuesday, March 18th at 11:00AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4:00-7:00PM.
Interment in Glenwood Cemetery, Natick with Military Honors.
