Macauley, Kathleen S. of Marshfield passed away surrounded by her loved ones on March 12, 2014, at the age of 64, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Cary T. Macauley and the loving mother of Pamela Macauley Wetzel of Marshfield and Lindsey Macauley Dietz of Scituate as well as the cherished daughter of the late John and Dorothy Barry. Also left to treasure her memory are her sons-in-law, Anthony C. Wetzel and Christian G. Dietz IV; her grandchildren, Margot Jungling, Brandon Wetzel, and Christian G. Dietz V; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Laurel Small and Donna and Stewart Clark; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
Kathy grew up in Rockland and has lived in Marshfield for most of her life with her husband and the love of her life, Cary. Her proudest accomplishment in life was raising her two daughters, and she cherished spending time with her grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on March 20 at 9 a.m. at St. Christine’s Parish, 1295 Main Street, Marshfield.
