Barker, Glorias “Tommie” age 83, of Louisville, KY died peacefully on March 12, 2014. She was born in Barbourville, KY on January 16, 1931.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, William “Red” Barker.
She is survived by her three children, Kae (Mike) Milam of Louisville, KY. Bill (Shelley) Barker of Lexington, KY. & Tere Crist of Medford, OR.; seven grandchildren, Josh (Michelle) & Ben Milam, Amy (John) Hill, Courtney & Kara Barker, April & Chad Crist; three great grandchildren, Savannah Milam, Maggie & Blair Hill.
Tommie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who had a heart for helping people. She never met a stranger. She had many wonderful friends whom she loved dearly and considered to be family. She will be remembered for her vibrant personality and spirit.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm with funeral services to follow at 3:00 pm at Hopper Funeral Home in Barbourville, KY. Burial to follow at Barbourville Cemetery.
