Geraldine M. (Baxter) Mulvey 71, of Brockton passed away quietly at home surrounded by her family March 11, 2014. She was the wife of the late John B. Mulvey. Jeri was born in Boston and raised in W. Roxbury and was the daughter of the late William S. and Marion L. (Vetterlein) Baxter; she had been a resident of Brockton since 1971.
Jeri is remembered for her wonderful dry sense of humor, big loving heart as well as her tough straightforward honesty. She loved time spent with family and friends and truly knew how to appreciate her own time spent alone.
She enjoyed playing bingo; fancied herself as a “professional gambler” traveling as often as she could to Twin Rivers and the Big M Casino. While her husband John was living the two enjoyed summer days on their boat at Marina Bay in Quincy and several years traveling to Bonita Springs, FL
Jeri is survived by her children; John B Mulvey III and wife Kathy, Geraldine “Jeri” (Mulvey) Murphy and her husband John all of NH, Greg H Mulvey and his wife Lisa, William “Billy” Mulvey and his wife Lisa, and Leo M Mulvey and his wife Paula all of Brockton. Her siblings; Alvina Baxter-Moran, Susan Baxter-Joyce, William Baxter, and Robert Baxter. Her 14 Grandchildren; JB, Jacquelynne, Daneen, Greg, Kendra, Maddison, Kerigan, Shannon, Liam, Brittany, Hailey, Kylee, Cali, and Mark and 4 Great grandchildren; Camden, Greg, Paige and Ava as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton Monday March 17, 2014 from 9:30 - 11:30 am, immediately followed by a celebration of life service at 11:30.
