Livia Cornelio, 86 of Somerville, died Monday after a brief illness in the Mt. Auburn Hospital, Cambridge.
Born in Italy she lived in Somerville for the past 42 years and was the daughter of the late Anna (Donnatelli) and Rocco Cornelio. Livia was an Assembler at Teradyne in Boston for 18 years and retired in 1992.
Beloved wife of the late Orazio. Devoted mother of Vincenzo Cornelio and his wife Anna of Italy, Rocco Cornelio and his wife Margaret of Everett, Luciano Cornelio and his wife Maria of North Reading, Silvana Cornelio and her husband Stephen Torci of Royalston, Claudio Cornelio and his Wife Tommasina of Revere. Also survived by 13 loving Grandchildren and 10 loving great grandchildren. Sister of Antoinetta Ferrante of Cambridge and the late Graziella Colucci, Giovanni and Alfonso Cornelio.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford St., Somerville, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.
