Obituary

Henry A. Bourdelais, 75, of Salem, NH died Wednesday, March 5th at Nevins Nursing and Rehab. Center in Methuen, MA. He was known to friends and family as "Buster" and to coworkers as "Hank."

Henry was a lifelong resident of Salem. He was a lab technician for Anheuser Busch in Merrimack, NH for 25 years. He was a member of St. David’s Episcopal Church and the Teamsters Union, Local #633. Henry was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Pelham Fish and Game Club, a member of the NRA and the Gun Owners of NH. Henry enjoyed cooking especially back yard barbecues. He enjoyed gardening and grew vegetables that he sold at a farm stand, where he loved interacting with people.

He was predeceased by his parents, Malvina (Navarsky) and Henry P. Bourdelais.

Henry is survived by his beloved wife, Judith (Howker) Bourdelais of Salem,
his children, Newton Bourdelais and Karen Bourdelais, both of Salem,
his Aunt Claire Lundberg of Salem and his god daughter, Allison Handley of Auburn, NH. He will be sadly missed by his cat, Opie.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Nevins Nursing and Rehab. Center and the Rockingham VNA for the wonderful care they gave to Henry.

Calling hours will be Friday, March 14th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.

The Funeral Service is Saturday at 11:00AM at the Funeral Home. Burial is in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem.

Memorial contributions in Henry’s name may be made to the Salem Animal Rescue League, 4 Sarl Dr., Salem, NH 03079.
