Michael F. McKinnon Jr. a resident of Stoughton,a United States Air Force Veteran,formerly of Boston and an Ironworker with Local 7 for over 40 years passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday March 8, 2014 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 76 years old and the beloved husband of Mona M. (Qualls). He was also the loving father of Michele Deyoung, Mona Gallagher, Maureen McKinnon, Michael McKinnon, Marcus McKinnon, Monica McKinnon M.D. and Matthew McKinnon. Other survivors include his 10 grandchildren,siblings,many nieces, nephews and friends.
Born January 29, 1938 in Boston,Massachusetts he was the cherished son of the late Michael F. McKinnon Sr. and Dorothy (Malcolm).He attended the Holy Trinity Catholic School and graduated from Boston College High School. Mike will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
