John R. "Jack" Campbell, Jr. age 57, a resident of Hebron, New Hampshire, passed away on March 6, 2014 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Jack was brought up in Wilmington, MA, lived in Tampa, Florida, and retired to Hebron, New Hampshire. He worked for the Doucette Moving and Storage Co. of Reading, MA for many years. Jack loved being outdoors, fishing or simply hopping in his truck for a ride. He was also an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and enjoyed history.
Jack is the cherished son of Nancy Eaton of Venice, FL and the late John R. Campbell Sr. formerly of Wilmington. He was a devoted father to his son, Christopher Campbell and Michelle Mahoney of Hudson, MA, and daughter Shannon Campbell Carson and husband Darius Carson of Tampa, FL, step-daughter Denise Wishart and husband Robert also of Tampa, FL. He is survived by his three sisters: Bonnie Campbell and husband Jerry Russo of Brookline, MA, Sandra Campbell Crosby and husband Ed Crosby of New Hampshire, and Jill Campbell of Hudson, MA. He was a loving grandfather to Angelo, Brielle, Amber, and Chelsea and great grandfather to Noah and J.D. Uncle of Kate Campbell, Pasha Pourghasemi, and Erika Lee Campbell Crosby.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 374 Main St., Wilmington, on Sunday, March 9th, at 4 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service from 1 to 4 p.m. Interment services will be private.
