WORCESTER-Phyllis R. Little, 101, died Sunday, Oct. 24th in the Odd Fellows Home. Her husband, James G. Little died in 1978. She leaves her daughter, Derith J. Segur of Auburn; a nephew, W. Donald Rice of Pine, CO; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A brother, W. Maynard Rice predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Walter C. and Maude B. (Millett) Rice and lived here all her life. She graduated from North High School and the Glen Eden School in Connecticut. She was a member of the Worcester Art Museum, Mechanics Hall Association and enjoyed traveling.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, Oct. 29th at 11:00 a.m. at High Plains Cemetery, High St. (off Rte. 140) in the Oakdale section of West Boylston. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St. is directing arrangements.
