Angela Judith Cataldi, 25, of Derry, NH, died Saturday March 1, 2014 in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. She was born on June 13, 1988 in Methuen, MA, and had been a lifelong Derry resident. Angela was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Derry, Class of 2006. She was employed as an LNA with Tendercare, as well as bartending at Halligan’s Tavern in Derry. She loved children. Angela also enjoyed cheerleading with the Derry Demons, horseback riding, and playing sports. She was actively involved with Breast Cancer awareness.
She is survived by her father, Scott Cataldi of Derry and his companion Erin Murphy, and her son and daughter; her mother, Paula (Wilkes) Cataldi of Derry and her companion Rick Brougham, and his three sons; her three sisters, Tanya Cataldi, Sophia Cataldi and Bella Cataldi, all of Derry; one brother, Scottie Cataldi of Derry; maternal grandfather, William Wilkes of Londonderry; paternal grandmother, Angela Cataldi of Methuen, MA; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother Judith Wilkes and paternal grandfather Emil Cataldi.
Calling hours were held on Thursday, March 6th from 4 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services were held on Friday at 10:00am in the funeral home. The burial followed in the Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen, MA. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
