Michael A. Boczanowski, 55, of Medway passed away Friday, February 28, 2014 at his home following a period of declining health.
Born in Milford on February 9, 1959, he was the son of the late John J. and Florence C. (Jerzylo) Boczanowski.
Mr. Boczanowski was a lifelong resident of Medway and graduated from Medway High School in 1977 where he was an all-star athlete.
He earned a degree from UMASS - Stockbridge School of Agriculture and owned his own horticultural business, Mystic Gardens, for many years.
Mr. Boczanowski was a proud cancer survivor of 26 years.
He is survived by four brothers, John and Vincent Boczanowski, both of Medway, Philip Boczanowski of San Diego, CA and Paul Boczanowski of Livermore, CA, two sisters, Barbara Conroy of Bellingham and Diane Ghera of Medway and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
He was the brother of the late Cynthia Davis.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5 - 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
