Evelyn J. (Andre) Durand, 93, died Thursday in the Oakland Grove Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Maurice Durand. Mrs. Durand was born in Woonsocket, the daughter of the late Leon and Sylvie (Bens) Andre.
She was a dedicated homemaker and devoted mother and is survived by her daughter Sylvia Noonan of Florence, MA, three grandchildren; Charleen Howarth, Allison Smith, and Brian Walsh, and eight great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St, Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at10:00 in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd, Woonsocket. Burial will be private.
