Pauline M Mihalisin, 87, of Sturges, died Saturday at Regional Hospital Hospice, Scranton, Pa. She was the widow of Albert Mihalisin who passed away 5/8/2012. The couple was married 68 years.
Born in Jessup, daughter of the late Andrew and Sophia Hudak Spernoga, she was a life long Sturges resident and was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church Peckville. She was a loving and devoted housewife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed her family above everything, spending time with her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially the newest addition her great grand son Michael Anthony Appel. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed her trips to the casino.
Surviving our five daughters, Maryann Egnotovich, Sturges; Sally Rempe and husband Jame, Lake Spangenberg; Helen Gravine, Carbondale; and twins Michele Mihalisin, and caregiver Richele Tomasetti and companion Al Davidson Sturges, PA; six grandchildren including Paulette Hurtado who was also a caregiver, 16 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded on death by a son Michael 6/5/2012

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday from the Michael P Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant, with Mass at 10 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Peckville.
