Patricia A. McNamara, 80

Dateline: Mansfield, MA

Patricia A. (Hannon) McNamara, age 80, of Mansfield, formerly of Dennisport and South Boston passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, February 21, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late James L. McNamara, Sr.
Born in South Boston, MA on October 3, 1933, She was a loving daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Foley) Hannon. She grew up in South Boston and was a graduate of St. Augustine High School in Boston.
Mrs. McNamara was a dedicated homemaker who loved spending time in the presence of her adoring family. She had made her home in Mansfield for the past four years and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield.
Pat looked forward to Friday luncheon get tog ether’s with her friends, occasional trips to Foxwoods Casino and throughout her life she remained a loyal fan of the Boston Red Sox.
She is survived by her devoted children, James L. McNamara, Jr. and his wife Charlene of Tewksbury and Patricia A. Davis and her husband Lawrence of Mansfield. She was the dear sister of the late Jane Morgan and is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Brendan L. Davis, Alison M. Davis and Bethany M. McNamara, as well as her seven nephews.
Her Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 26th at 9:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow in the Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, February 25th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.
