McGraw, William C. “Mac”, 85, went home to his Lord, Thursday February 20, 2014 at St’s Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. “Mac” was born in Louisville, to Fred & Mary Elizabeth (Bolton) McGraw. He was retired from Ford Motor Co. after 42 years service, where he was a Paint & Polish specialist and the most dedicated employee. He prepared autos for several dignitaries, including John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, Queen Elizabeth and Henry Ford Jr. He was a member of Virginia Avenue United Methodist Church and was one of the Founding Fathers of Valley Sports Little League. “Mac” was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Timothy McGraw and a brother, Jack McGraw. Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Norma Fay (Wise) McGraw; his sons, Walter (Betsy), Alan (Karen) and Willie McGraw (Lydia); 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, JoAnn Kirtley and Mary Adkins. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 2 – 8 PM.
