Chester J. Milosh, Sr., 77

Dateline: Norton, MA

Chester J. Milosh, Sr., age 77 of Norton passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton.
Born in Attleboro,. MA on August 25, 1936, he was a loving son of the late Joseph and Mary (Konan) Milosh.
Chet grew up in Attleboro, was educated in Attleboro public schools and was a graduate of Attleboro High School. He furthered his education and was a graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island.
He served in the United States Navy between the times of the Korean and Vietnam Wars, prior to being honorably discharged.
Before retiring, Mr. Milosh had worked as a machine operator for over 25 years at the Charles A. Richardson Co. in West Mansfield. He had also worked as a security officer at Wheaton College in Norton, and when younger had been employed at Bird & Sons in Walpole.
Chet was a member of the Norton American Legion Post 222 and attended St. Mary’s Church in Norton.
His favorite times spent were those in the presence of his family, especially with his grandchildren. He enjoyed bowing, playing golf and music; which included playing the piano and accordion.
He is survived by his devoted children, Chester J. Milosh, Jr. and his wife Kimberly of North Attleboro and Valerie M. Marcon-Nestico and her husband Ronald of Norton. He was the cherished “Jaju” of Taylor Marcon, Adam Marcon, Noah Marcon, Aiden Marcon, Logan Nestico, Brooke Milosh and Joseph Milosh. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his former wife Suzanne M. Milosh-Weeks of Norton.
His funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Tuesday, February 25th at 11:00 A.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton. Burial will follow in the Timothy Plain Cemetery, Norton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning prior to the services beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Milosh’s family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
