Marion C. Muller, 85

Marion C. (Stowe) Muller, age 85, of Mansfield passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Friday, February 21, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene O. Muller who died in 1979.
Born in Beverly, MA on November 10, 1928, she was a loving daughter of the late Roland and Dorothy (Pettee) Stowe.
Marion grew up in the Boston area. She was a graduate of the former Girls High School in Dorchester and had also attended the Massachusetts School of Art in Boston.
A resident of Mansfield since 1962, Mrs. Muller was a retired housekeeper at St. Mary’s Church and Rectory in Mansfield. She had previously worked as a cook in the Mansfield School System, and when younger was employed at the Rust Craft Greeting Card Co. in Dedham.
Marion was an active communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield where she served as a former member of the Catholic Women’s Club, taught religious education and for many years had made baptismal bibs for the children of the church.
Throughout the years, Mrs. Muller was very active with her children’s affairs and especially enjoyed volunteering at her son Billy’s educational program.
Marion loved spending time in the presence of her adoring family. Her other interests included knitting, cross stitching and crocheting
She is survived by her devoted children, Eugene L. Muller and his wife Eileen of Holliston, William J. Muller of Mansfield, Maria T. Muller of Mansfield and the late Edward C. Muller. She was the dear sister of Evelyn Hunton of Winthrop, Ralph Stowe of Hull and the late Walter Stowe. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Christopher Muller, Ryan Muller and Courtney Muller, as well as her loving nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Tuesday, February 25th at 9:30 A.M. from the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at 10:30 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 24th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.
