Eva, M. McNeil, who turned 108 in January, died Tuesday, February 18, 2014. She was the wife of the late Bernard F. McNeil.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Zephir and Amanda (Giroux) Girard. She lived in Providence most of her life.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary L. Mottola of Providence and Janet C. Powers of Greenville; 23 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Bernard, Donald, Richard, Margaret and Kathleen McNeil and Barbara McDermott.
Her funeral will be Saturday at 8am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Avenue, Providence. Visitation Friday 4-7pm. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
