Obituary

WORCESTER: Paula M. McGrail, 78, of Worcester MA and formerly of Cherry Valley MA passed away on February 18th at her sister's home in Plymouth MA.



She was predeceased by her brother William J. McGrail. She leaves her brother R Michael McGrail and his wife Mary of Raleigh, N.C., two sisters Elizabeth Ann Grant and husband Roger of Hayden, Idaho, Kathleen M. Madaus and husband William C of Plymouth, MA and sister-in law Aurore McGrail. She was beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews, as well as blessed with many life-long friends.



Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of William H. and Margaret C. (Cunningham) McGrail, and later graduated from Leicester High School in 1954. Paula had retired from Holy Cross College. She also worked at the Belmont Home in Worcester.

Paula led a life of service to others. She was a member and past president of the 39ers at 39 First St., past president of the American Legion Post 443 - Women's Auxillary, She had been active in Sweet Adeline’s, and was an active volunteer at the Hanover Theater in Worcester for the past 5 years as well as being an RSVP Worcester Area Volunteer. She was a member at Blessed Sacrament parish. where for many years she was a lector and Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist.
Paula’s funeral will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22 from the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester, with a Mass at 10 AM in Blessed Sacrament, 555 Pleasant St., Worcester. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Leicester. Calling hours are Friday, Feb. 21 from 5 to 7p.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Hospice of the South Shore or your favorite charity.
