Charles B. Donovan, 52, of Applewood Dr., Derry died Tuesday, March 19, 2002, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a brief illness. He was born in Manhattan, NY on December 9, 1949, a son of the late Charles E. and Marion (Chmieleski) Donovan. He was raised in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY and had been a resident of Derry for the past 10 years, formerly living in E. Northport, LI, NY. He had served in the US Navy Reserves. He was self employed as a computer consultant. He was predeceased by his wife, Anne Marie (Kennedy) Donovan who died in 2000.
He is survived by his daughter, Courtney A. Donovan of Derry, his son, Chris L. Donovan of Rochester, NY, one sister, Charlene A. Heath of Fairbanks, Alaska, and many cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 22nd, from 6 – 8 and Saturday, March 23rd from 6 – 8 in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A funeral service will be held on Saturday evening at 7:00 during calling hours in the funeral home, with cremation following.
