Mildred ‘Segura’ Silva, 84, of Provincetown died Sunday, February 17, 2014 at Seashore Point in Provincetown after an illness.
Born in Provincetown, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Almeida [Silva] Segura. She was a graduate of Provincetown High School.
Mildred worked for 38 years for the former Cape and Vineyard Electric Company, which is now part of NASTAR. After retirement, she worked seasonally for the Provincetown Parking Department, where her smile and warm greeting welcomed patrons to the Grace Hall parking lot on Prince Street.
She is survived by her son, John Silva, his wife, Lynn and grandson Alex of Georgetown Mass. Her sister Antoinette Donahue of Eastham as well as many nieces and nephews also survive her.
At Mildred’s request there will be no service. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery.
